2. Windows 10 Blue screen

Hi are you aware of what causes BSOD? You say there are 386 errors. Are these event viewer errors?

Do you have any dump files? There is a member here that is a BSOD expert and will probably join this thread latter. I approach BSODs differently, but he is the expert and I'm just a beginner.

I use a program called Who Crashed. It will read your BSODs for you, that you can attach to your posts when seeking help.

Here's link!

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.

I suggest that you ask your question where the experts in analyzing BSODs are:

Hi kilesazan,

Welcome to the 10forums.

Please remove startup items in taskmanager.
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble.

Please remove ASUS software, pre-installed software could cause BSOD's because they aren't stable.

Please remove Driver Booster 2 and every driver that has been installed with Driver Booster 2.
Especially because you have a laptop you don't need a program to check your drivers / update your drivers.
Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers giving you more trouble.

The BSOD's are totally random and the only few driver that have been flagged are from ASUS software, the network driver and the video driver from your GPU.
How old is your laptop? Because of the date of a few drivers

Nvidia Video driver

Please do the following:

• Open an admin command prompt
• Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
• When it finished reboot your system
• Open again an admin command prompt
• Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Please disable or remove all startup items.

It might give problems if there are drivers left from DB2, please install the drivers from your manufacturer to remove as much as possible from DB2.

SFC said anything about unfixable problems?
It looks fine so far I can understand it.

9. kilesazan Win User
nope, it didn't find any violation.

Okay I have installed all manufacturer drivers. what's next?

For the drivers from DB2 we need to use driver verifier, probably a couple of times

DRIVER VERIFIER

Calling all BSOD Experts. Intermitent Various BSODs [IMG]
Warning Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
Please create a restore point.
Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

Calling all BSOD Experts. Intermitent Various BSODs [IMG]
Note Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

It might be a good idea to clean install windows 10 and only install the drivers from your manufacturer.
Please never use a driver update utility again, it causes so much trouble as you can see.
Every crash is caused by something else, likely due to the DB2 installed drivers.
Below are the drivers that are flagged, some might have been flagged because they are the last active but are likely not the root cause.

At the time of the last crash, did you have something connected outside of mouse?
A USB driver has been flagged of Windows.
Code: Probably caused by : ucx01000.sys
A driver from Windows has been flagged, likely has to do with the hard drive.
Code: Probably caused by : partmgr.sys
The Atheros driver has been flagged
Code: 0: kd> lmvm athw10x start end module name fffff801`3ce00000 fffff801`3d237000 athw10x T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: athw10x.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\athw10x.sys Image name: athw10x.sys Timestamp: Tue Jun 16 11:29:55 2015 (557FEC93) CheckSum: 00428B1F ImageSize: 00437000 Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
The Intel Graphics driver has been flagged

thanks for the advice, I will never use driver sh*t again, it just worsen the problem.

Yes I use a external hard drive to copy some files from my drive.

I cant update my intel graphics, I downloaded Intel driver update utility and said there was a new update, though the button to update is unclickable, Update using device managers says it is already the latest driver.
