Windows 10: Camera error 0xA00F4271 <mediacapturefailedevent> 0x8007001F

I recently got a webcam for my computer but it doesn't seem to work on my computer, I've tried it on my old laptop and it works fine on that but not on my computer, I have tried updating drivers and camera settings is all set to allow the camera to work.

Camera App Error 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070018)

I own an HP Omen Laptop running Windows 10 Version 1909. It has an inbuilt webcam.

Whenever I open the Camera App, it shows the error 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070018)

I checked the Device Manager and it doesn't have Imaging Devices listed. It does have a listing called Cameras.


Updated all Drivers manually. Win 10 is also up to date.

How do I get my Camera working ??

Error: 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070018) on built-in Camera

When I open the built in camera, this error code '0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070018)' comes and the camera has never worked ever since I bought the laptop.

It is an inbuilt camera by Microsoft and my laptop is:

Product name: HP Laptop 14-bp0xx

Serial number: 5CD736DBTH

Product number: 2GV34PA#ABG

I have tried all the troubleshooting and resetting solutions suggested but nothing works. I have tried to find the camera on device manager but it shows as USB Boot. How can I fix this?

My camera shows 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x800706BE) when I try to open it. I tried your troubleshooting app with no success. Same thing happens. Any suggestions?
