Windows 10: Camera Gives trouble

HiI have a Dell laptop with 4 GB RAM and has Window 11 home, single language, version 22H2 OS 22621.1194 and 64 bit OS, x-64 based processor. It was purchased with Windows 10 OS but later was automatically updated to Windows 11.While meeting on Zoom, the camera starts flickering after some time. The problem continues even after uninstalling the camera in "device manager" and restarting the PC. On restarting PC and Zoom, I see a flicker of camera light and then nothing. If I type 'camera' in search box and click the app, I see an error notification "the camera is being used by another app" wi

settings to see if the camera access is turned on. Kindly follow the steps below to check the camera privacy settings:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Near the top of the Settings app window is the search box, kindly type the word "webcam" or "camera".
• From the list of results choose Camera privacy settings.
• Make sure that "Let apps use my camera" toggle is set to On.

Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Mobile

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

 

Camera does not work.

To isolate your concern, we suggest that you uninstall the camera through Device Manager. To do this, follow the steps below:

• In the Search box, type Device
  Manager and press Enter.
• Navigate to Imaging devices.
• Expand the Imaging devices tree by clicking on the adjacent arrow.
• Look for your device, right-click then select Properties.
• Click on the Driver tab, then choose Uninstall button.

Let the system restarts to complete the process. Take note that the camera may not work if there are other applications which are still open that uses the same device, we suggest that after uninstalling the device you can proceed with launching the application
to check if the issue persists.
