    Camera not attached 0xA00F4244 error after update


    Until recently, about 1 month or 5 weeks ago, I've been using the webcam on my Acer A515-51G Windows 10 with no issues. After a certain update, my camera stopped working along with bluetooth devices. I was able to fix the bluetooth issue by reinstalling the driver. However, I have tried multiple fixes for the camera issue but it still doesn't work. I've tried:

    - Adding EnableFrameServerMode in the register editor, but it did nothing after restarting.

    - Reinstalling camera drivers, but the camera driver does not exist and I can't find it online.

    - Using the Hardware and Devices Windows troubleshooter, but it does not exist either.

    Whenever I click on the Microsoft camera app I get a message saying that "We can't find your camera" and the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> The "Get Help thing troubleshooted it, and reset it. Still didn't work. It also had me look under Device
    Manager and under camera/ imaging devices and my camera was not listed. Not sure if the device manager one only works for USB cameras though. Then the "Get Help" said "I don't have any further troubleshooting steps for this right now." and listed a
    few options for getting help which led me here.
