Windows 10: Camera Not Working: 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent>0x80070001

I have a Lenovo Yoga 710-15ISK, 2 in1 Laptop. The Windows version is 10.0.18363 Build 18363, and all updates have been installed.


The built-in camera worked as it should when I first purchased the unit. The camera has worked intermittently since the first update and the intermittent pattern seems to coincide with updates. Some updates cause it to work again and others stop it from working. It's not working again and I continue to get the message in the subject line when I attempt to use the camera app.


I have spent the last 3 hours reading similar posts and trying the suggested fixes which include:\

• restoring the old driver
• deleting the driver
• updating the driver
• turning off the anti-virus Windows Defender
• resetting the app

I found this thread in a couple of spots and followed all of the suggestions in it which include most of the bulleted items above


I'm beyond frustrated, at this point. Any suggestions?

Camera not working in Levono Yoga 710-14IKB after update

After software update my camera is not working with any application. It's showing an error code 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x80070001).

Could you please help to resolve this issue?

My webcam works on other PCs but not mine I have uninstalled the drivers and looked at security settings. Idk what to do help error code 0xA00F4271<MediaCaptureFailedEvent> (0x800706BE).
