Windows 10: Camera not working, imaging device missing

Under device manager, Imaging Devices, shows orange exclamation mark; tried to update but here is information under Properties:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
The specified request is not a valid operation for the target device.


I also tried troubleshooting under Hardware & Devices but problem is unresolved

when i Right click that device in Device Manager, choose Properties
and Click on the Details Tab and change the Property Drop down to Hardware ID's it says :

usb\vid_0482&pid_061d&mi_01

Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

• On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Click on View and select
  Show Hidden Devices.
• Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
• If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
  Update Driver Software
• Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.

• When you say Camera, are you using Camera App or any other application?
• Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
• Are you logged in with Microsoft Account?
• Do you find any unknown device in device manager?

For now run the hardware and device troubleshooter and check for the result:

a. Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar.

b. Click troubleshooting in the search results.

c. Click "View all" and then click "Hardware and device".

d. Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.

Camera does not work.

To isolate your concern, we suggest that you uninstall the camera through Device Manager. To do this, follow the steps below:

• In the Search box, type Device
  Manager and press Enter.
• Navigate to Imaging devices.
• Expand the Imaging devices tree by clicking on the adjacent arrow.
• Look for your device, right-click then select Properties.
• Click on the Driver tab, then choose Uninstall button.

Let the system restarts to complete the process. Take note that the camera may not work if there are other applications which are still open that uses the same device, we suggest that after uninstalling the device you can proceed with launching the application
to check if the issue persists.
