Windows 10: CAMERA not working with new classroom format in my app - works in the old format

Hi. I work online teaching English. My company has launched a new teaching platform- now my camera works fine in the old teaching platform which I still teach but it doesn't work in the new teaching platform. Both platforms are through the same app- the one that works has 4 students in it and the one that doesn't work has 6 students in it. My camera is granted access to the app and has always worked in the 4 students classroom. Any ideas please as this currently means I cannot teach any of the new classes.

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

considering the lack of major names on that list i can see this new format not being a popular one.

 

Off topic: possible to reboot/ format toy camera..?

Exactly Bree, SD card is fine, it does work in other cameras, but when I insert it in the AirCam the entire camera shuts down, i.e. the camera doesn't work when the SD is inserted, but comes alive again when I pull the SD out..! Some hardware problems, connector faults as suggested..? Would it be safe/ make any sense to try to reboot/ format the AirCam drive?
