    Camera Roll and Onedrive issue


    Hello, so I've been having some issue with my camera pictures automatically being saved to onedrive. So I have a surface pro 7, and whenever I take a picture with the camera, the picture just automatically saves to my onedrive folder and the picture just appears outside my Pictures folder in onedrive. But that's not my issue, I want the pictures that I take on my surface to go to a folder not in my onedrive. Is there a way to change where the camera pictures goes? I want the pictures to save to another folder I created outside my onedrive.

    Onedrive camera roll.

    I have a folder in onedrive named camera roll. The last 2 days I took pictures with my iphone (5s). Yesterday my iphone onedrive app put the pictures in a new folder named camera roll 1, today it put pictures in a new folder named camera roll 2. Can anybody explain why this is happening? I did not create these folders.

    Hi Rosalyn,

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps for arranging the camera pictures in recent order and check if it helps.

    • Press “Windows+E” it will open file explorer.
    • Go to “This PC” and click on “pictures folder”.
    • Then click on “camera roll folder”.
    • And right click on the empty space and select “sort by” option.
    • Then select ascending option.

    Where is OneDrive Camera Roll settings?


    I am running 9926 using a microsoft account and can't find camera roll (or any other OneDrive) settings anywhere. Search just takes me to the main settings pane. I've tried looking through all of them but can't find where to turn camera roll on. Anyone know where it may be?
