    Can anyone please help with error 0xc1900201 that I am having?


    I want to update my windows from version 1709 to 1909 but i can't due to the error 0xc1900201 that i am having. I have watched solutions on youtube but none of them have worked. Can anyone please help?

    Mike,

    I followed the YouTube tutorial. As I said previously the very first step failed. I continued following the tutorial to the end. The Powershell step - WUAUCLT.EXE /UPDATENOW did not function as in the tutorial. After going through all the steps I reran the Windows 10 Update Assistant. I ended up in the exact same place as before. "Something went wrong" error code 0xc1900201.

    Any other advice?

    Hello,

    i am getting an 0xc1900201 error when attempting to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 10 Home. The message said I cannot run Windows on a flash drive. I do have an SSD drive. I did try deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder. Can you please help?
