Windows 10: Can i downgrade my windows 10 laptop in default back to windows 7?

If so, can i run it on UEFI BIOS setting? Are there drivers of mine which supports also the windows 7?

Can I downgrade from windows 10 to windows 8.1?

I've already registered to reserve windows 10. What if windows 10 doesn't work well on my laptop? Can I back to my downgrade or uninstall and back to my original windows 8.1 ?

The backup files for Windows 7 take up a large huge amount of space. So after a few weeks they get removed to give you space back.

If you made your own backup (which everyone should do), then you can go back using that.

If you never made your own backup, then you'll need to get your original Windows 7 disc (or if your computer came with it, the factory restore CD that came with your computer). If you don't have it, call the company you bought it from and ask if they can
send you a replacement backup disc.

There are no Windows 7 drivers, just Windows 8 and 10. You can try it and see what happens. Also, you would have to purchase a Windows 7 key to install with, no downgrade rights.

Before dong so, please create an image backup of your current Windows 10 installation using Macrium Reflect to an external USB 3 hard drive ($60US). Then if things go wrong you can restore the image and be bback to Windows 10 in a half hour or less.

May I ask why you want to go back to Windows 7? Windows 10 is a better OS and with some tweaking can be made to look and feel a lot like Windows 7.

 

Windows 10 is a much more secure OS than Windows 7 . Do you have a Windows 7 key ? If yes , do image backup first and then using Windows 10 Rollback Tool . You can also refer to this
