Windows 10: Can I install one update at a time?

On my Windows 10 Pro, verson 1903 (Build 18362.535), I have a number of Microsoft office applications, version 2003. For the most part, they work fine. Recently, I went to Windows Update > Advanced options & marked "Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows"

When I checked updates, there were about 15 or so listed that I installed. However, every time I opened Word, I received a warning message regarding my global template "macros.dot" that I had created way back in Window XP, many years ago. I tried uninstalling various updates, but couldn't correct the problem, so I restored from a Macrium Reflect backup, which put me back before updates were installed.

What I would like to do is install these updates one at a time, so I can check for problems. With Windows Update, it seems that I can only choose "Download", which downloads & installs all of them.

Any ideas how I can do this?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
