    When I run update programs Uniget, others they are accompanied with these prompts to confirm the action. Can I get rid of them and make the apps run without confirmation?

    Hi Linda,

    Thank you for keeping us updated.

    Please confirm a couple of things:

    • What happens when you try to delete the GWX files?
    • Do you receive any error message?
    • Have you tried the Method 2 provided by me in the previous suggestion?
    Assuming that you haven't tried stopping the notification by editing the Registry keys since you haven't mentioned about it I suggest you to follow the steps in
    Method 2 from the above post and check if it helps.

  3. Printing stopped with November upgrade

    Hey Prestonpdx,

    I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.


    • Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
      and press Enter.

    • From the list, locate Print Spooler service.

    • Double click on the service and select Stop.

    • Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.

    • Double click on the service and check if the service is started.

    Can I set file delete to require a confirmation action

    Please be assured that we will do our best to help you.

    I suggest you to place a checkmark in the Display delete confirmation dialog from the Recycle Bin properties and see if it helps.

    Follow the bellow steps:


    • Right-click the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop,

    • Choose Properties.

    • Place a checkmark in the Display delete confirmation dialog.
