Windows 10: Can I Put a BIOS update and Windows Installation Media on the same flash drive? ACPI BIOS ERROR

I've think i've finally found the fix to the ACPI BIOS ERROR ive been struggling with for 2 years on my old laptop, but I ran into a roadblock. I can't charge my laptop since it stopped charging properly after a drop slightly damaged the charging port. I've seen on the internet ways to force it the bios update with command prompt, but I can't even get to advanced options since I just run into the " Recovery Your PC/Device needs to be repaired" screen which doesn't allow me to get to advanced recovery. And in addition I accidently set a 2nd password in the BIOS set up that makes it so I have

ACPI Bios Error

The BIOS is up to date, nothing in the BIOS lets me turn off ACPI mode its not even mentioned, cant reach start up repair and automatic repair results in the same error.

I’ve been working this problem for 3 days now so most of these I have tried, I ran memtest for 9 hours with no fails on the first day. The system has no drivers besides whatever comes with a Win10 install. The only way I could put them on would be to pull
the drive again and install them from my working desktop like I did for Win10.



I’ve just gone through and followed the steps for a clean install including Updating the BIOS to latest, reset to Defaults, making sure SATA controller is set to AHCI, UEFI is enabled, CSM disabled, Windows Boot Manager set first to boot, and disabling Secure
and Fast Boot just to make sure. The same ACPI ERROR happens before anything else so I never get to any kind of install just the ASUS logo screen.



I’m unsure what you mean by “on first screen” for getting to the cmd line the only thing I have any ability to use is the BIOS.

ACPI Bios Error

An all black screen with a text cursor that flashed on the top then moved down one line.

then this time the ASUS logo is gone replaced with the windows logo for about 10 seconds it tried to load and then crashed to the BSOD with the same ACPI BIOS Error.
