    Can I reinstall Avast after installing Win 10 update 1903?


    When trying to upgrade Windows 10 to the 1903 version today, the error message stated I must uninstall Avast as it isn't compatible with Windows 10 (though I've been using Avast with Windows 10 for years). Can I reinstall Avast after this update is finally finished installing? If not, what other anti-virus software would be best to download?

    Win 10 1803 to 1903 update

    My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1903 a while back, but my Desktop running Win 10 version 1803

    I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1903 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

    Windows 10 Anniversary update and Avast

    It required uninstalling and reinstalling Avast for Windows 10 with Anniversary Update to see that Avast was on so it would turn off Defender.

    Before that Windows 10 Anniversary showed Avast being "off" in the list of programs even though it was on.

    Avast popup in new win 10 install

    This is a new harddrive, last one went kaput. Never had Avast and 2 days ago also began to receive this same annoying pop up.

    I can't find anything related to Avast in my program files/uninstall list. Any more suggestions? Thank you.
