Windows 10: Can I safely switch from BIOS A26 to A25?

    Can I safely switch from BIOS A26 to A25?


    I'm using a Dell M6800 laptop/workstation and might be having a problem with the latest BIOS A26. Will I cause any harm to my system by trying out BIOS A25? For my issue, I believe this is the last resort. If it fixes the problem, OK. If it doesn't fix the problem, I believe I can always revert to BIOS A26 (the latest). Comments please? Thank you.....

    It won't hurt anything.

    I don't know DELL's methods. Some BIOS (?) won't let you go backwards.
    Just give it a try, it'll either go to A25, or it won't let you.

    Always set the BIOS to defaults before trying to Flash it.


    On a side note... I doubt the A26 BIOS is the cause of w/e problems you may be having.
    A "setting" in the A26 BIOS may be causing problems.

    If the A26 BIOS is available for your comp... from DELL, then it's been tested to work.
