Windows 10: Can no longer "Run as Administator"

Discus and support Can no longer "Run as Administator" in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; OK - so a little update here.     Can no longer "Run as Administator"


    OK - so a little update here. M$ have really screwed something up, but at least I can now do what I need to do.

    Basically, I had to do:

    1) Start
    2) Type "hosts" (to get the program I want to come up)
    3) Now right click, and "View file location"
    4) Now - this is the confusing part. That is actually the shortcut location, not the file! So you have to right click the icon, and "view file location" again.
    5) Now right-click, "Run as Administrator", and voila it works....

    Talk about a PITA! (it never used to work like that - so they have screwed something up with the chain of file locations, I would guess)
