    Can not complete reset windows


    Dear all, thanks in advance for your help,


    I have a serious problem with my pc. windows 10


    Starting it it suddenly tried to fix an error and since it could not fix it, it lead me to the recovery page.

    I tried and failed

    1. Repair Startup

    2. I could boot in Safemode it worked and stopped default boot and services *I could not disable all*

    3. Chckdsk

    and


    4. tried a reset saving personal files

    it seemed that it would work but the Driver verifier stopped the installation. I disabled it with cmd but it did not help and I am back where the problem started.


    I have a safety startup copy in a usb.


    Any suggestion?

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
