Windows 10: can not get on the internet

my computer does not see my network, it can see all my neighbors network . I have reset the modem several times. My other computer has no problem seeing the network or getting online, any ideals

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Only Chrome can connect to the Internet.

To resolve the particular error messages that you're having, we suggest you perform the steps below to disable proxy server:

• Click the Tools button in Internet Explorer, then click Internet Options.
• Go to the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.
• Uncheck the box which says Use a Proxy Server for your LAN, then click
  OK.

I can get on the internet sometimes after the Windows 10 November update

I would suggest you to check some of the steps which will try resolving the issue.

Step 1: I would suggest you to run a
Windows app troubleshooter and check.

Step 2: Run inbuilt Internet connection troubleshooter and
Network Adapter troubleshooter.

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Also run the Network Adapter troubleshooter and check if the issue resolves.
