can not use note pad it say a startdocprintercall was not issued

Notepad printing

trying to print document in Notepad. It tells me startDocprinter call not issued. What is that?

 

Cannot print to an HP M452nw over the network - StartDocPrinter Call was not issued

I have a workstation that will not print to an HP M452nw over the network. If I try and print a test page, it errors. If I try and print from notepad, I get an error that says: StartDocPrinter Call was not issued.

I have tried what was suggested in this article:

StartDocPrinter Call was not issued

I've tried using the solution here: printing failure

I've tried manually deleting drivers, printers, and ports, in device manager, the registry, print managment, and print server properties in in Devices and Printers in control panel.

I've tried setting the printer up as a TCP/IP device. I've tried using the HP install suite to install it. None of this worked. Restarting the print spooler does nothing.

 

Notepad issue- English turned into gibberish/unreadable symbols

Step 2: Windows Update

• Once again update through Windows Update
• Follow this steps:
  • Click on Windows Key
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on Update & Security
  • On left panel click on Windows Update
  • On right panel under Windows Update click on Check for Updates

Step 3: Scan your system

• Specially D Drive or Notepad folder or Perform Full Scan
  if possible
• Scan your system by Windows Defender(Recommended) or antivirus program

Step 4: Unreadable to English

• Open that Notepad file
• Select all Crtl +A(Its optional only in Notepad)
• On menu-bar click on Format menu, then Font...
• Font window will open
• Make it as shown below:
