    I installed Ubuntu as dualboot on a Laptop running Windows 11 24H2, after a while of using it, when I wanted to divide some memory from partition C to D, it reported a rather annoying error, even the SD card also reported corrupted.Every time like that I have to use a 3rd party software to partition, but after partitioning it jumps up a BSOD saying REGISTRY_ERROR Even though it was successfully partitioned and there was no errorHow do I fix that?

    How to partition the C-disk?

    I'll take a look, but I would prefer a solution within Windows. I have had some bad experiences with 3rd party software.

    Hi,

    If you accidentally shrink the volume of your SSD partition, there is an option to extend the volume as well. To extend the volume of your SSD partition, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X on your keyboard and select Disk Management.
    • Right-click the partition that you want to expand and click Extend Volume.
    • Select the amount of space that you want to extend.
