Windows 10: Can PNG, GIFs open JPEG in Win 10 with nothing?

Have Windows 10. had a folder with subfolders and PNG's JPEG's and GIF's with Shift - Remove deleted completely. I was able to restore the folder with the subfolders with EasUs Data Recovery Wizard and load it on my USB-Intenso memory stick. Afterwards I loaded the folder with the subfolders back onto the hard disk.







Now I can't open any of it because supposedly it's probably not supported. No program will accept it and not open it. The extensions are displayed as PNG, JPEG or Gif and also the size. What is going on? With all programs it is not possible to open it. But now after the action an underscore has been faked in some file names in the naming, which I never put in. Even if I remove it, it does not work.

Also, no preview is displayed and cannot be activated. I am at a loss

Viewing photos & graphics jpeg, png, gif

Up til 3 days ago I was able to view, attach & send to others jpeg, png, gif. However, we attempted to download a program to open photos from my old Canon Elf. The laptop couldn't read the card and we thought we'd found the solution in Paint, downloaded
off net.

It did not work as I had hoped, so I uninstalled, and I STILL can't read my jpeg, png, gif files. How can I repair this?

 

Cannot open JPEG, PNG, BMP, or GIF File Container with Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 10 64-bit Home

I am unable to open up either JPEG (Lossy Compression), GIF, BMP, or PNG (Lossless Compression) files with Microsoft Paint or Microsoft Photo but it's too slow and long to open. Instead, I want to open with Windows Photo Viewer, however, I can only open
.tiff and .tif file container. Windows 7, on the other hand, used to work fine with Windows Photo Viewer to open up JPEG, GIF, BMP, or PNG files, but does not work in Windows 10 Home. Is there another way to open up JPEG, GIF, BMP, and/or PNG files without
using Windows Photo or MS Paint?

 

View a png, jpg, or gif file; and only that.

What is the best way to view a gif, png or jpeg file in WIndows. To render the image as it is with no artefacts belonging to the viewer? I just want to view the image (and the image alone), move it about the screen, close the view.
