    Very well said, Mike Hawthorne. It just seems to me that what is needed is the options to use the classic desktop environment or Metro. Microsoft, saw it different and decided it wanted everyone to use Metro, like it or not. So, it went from Windows 7 logo 'Windows, your way' to Windows 8, ' Windows our way, like it or lump it'. Just take a guess which OS is more popular.
    I only hope the next Windows allows for options, rather than a cell phone/tablet OS ported to the desktop.
