Can the plum.sqlite code be read into the original Sticky Notes format?

how to convert/transform plum.sqlite into sticky note format

I had about 5 pages' worth of notes that are now gone from the Sticky Notes app which has one blank note in the Notes List, whether because I ended the process in task manager which I expected would cause things to end whatever they'd started running instead of deleting them or because I unsynced iCloud though it is now synced I think. I read that the Sticky Notes data is in the plum.sqlite file and so I found it in File Explorer and opened it. The plum.sqlite file has 665 pages. My notes included passcodes that consisted purely of long strings of numbers, which would be difficult to discern from the random characters and strange formatting throughout the document. Do I have to manually discern the text from the code, or can I somehow convert the code into sticky notes? I imagine that the code can somehow be read by the app? For example, the computer must know what "type":"paragraph",

    "content": [
means in formatting terms, and it must be able to use it to format the text. Sticky Notes must have used it to make its notes in the past. How can I make Sticky Notes use this file to create notes?

Another question: will going back to a previous System Restore point restore my Sticky Notes in their previous state?

I notice that the plum.sqlite-wal file, which has 2,329 pages, also has some note text. Does it have any notes additional to the plum.sqlite text, or is it redundant with extra filler?

Also, the files say I can't edit them because I'm the wrong user, if that fact is relevant.

    :)

  2. Sticky Note Missing

    Hi KeithRawlings,

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Let's see if with the following steps we can solve the problem:

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

2.- Follow the steps suggested by the Windows MVP in your article

    https://www.kapilarya.com/fix-sticky-notes-lost...

I hope the steps work for you

    Attentive to any comments

    Have a happy day

    Best Regards,

    Charles.

  3. Sticky Notes Issue after re-installation of Win 10

Microsoft advocate was an ass, sad to say! I successfully retrieved my "lost" sticky notes by going to the appropriate folder in the "windows.old" folder created during the re-installation process and copying the subfolders into the equivalent windows folder.

An internet search revealed the following: Starting in Windows 10 Anniversary Update version 1607 and later, your Sticky Notes are now stored in the plum. sqlite database file located in the %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft. MicrosoftStickyNotes_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState folder.

    Problem solved *Smile
