Can we force apps to use the "Game Mode"?

I'm not a gamer, but Microsoft added a bunch of crap to Windows 10 for games. Odd, because I thought they had a console for that sort of thing. Anyway, I hate to have gadgetry and not use it, so can we leverage this for apps? Would be nice to give After Effects some additional priority, among others.

It would be super-duper if we could also tweak the game mode, but I imagine with the current state of Windows' settings (‍♂️) there aren't even reg keys for any of it.

  2. Game Mode Win10

    Hi,

Game Mode is automatically enabled to some games only. There are some games that require you to manually enable Game Mode before you can use this feature on your Windows 10 device.

To manually turn on Game Mode, you can follow the steps below:

    • Press the Windows key on your keyboard + G.
    • Select Settings.
    • In the General tab, select the check box for Game Mode.

If you have any other queries, feel free to post your concerns here anytime.
