Windows 10: Can we use "Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016" on available 8th Generation Laptop

We have a 8th Generation Laptop with following specification,


Laptop Specification

- Intel Core i7, 3.9GHz

- 8GB, DDR4

- 1TB SSD

- Intel WiFi 802.11ac

- With Out OS

- Trend Micro

- MSOffice-Business 2016



And we want to Install Window-10 IOT Enterprise LTSB 2016.


will above mention OS will work on Laptop or not?

Windows 10 IOT LTSB license options?

Can you please define the difference between these two software licenses? We need to understand if there will be any functional difference between the two options....or if the difference is only due to the sales channel which these licenses are purchased;

Windows 10 licence query - IoT and Windows 10 enterprise 2016 LTSB

I have a retail POS unit on which I wanted to install Windows 10 IoT.

I used the 'evaluation copy' link on the following page to download and install an evaluation copy.

I now want to activate this licence and purchased keys but they do not work - the keys I have (for Win 10 IOT Ent 2016 LTSB) are in the format xxxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx (14 characters excluding dashes, 5 then 3 time 3) but the activation key that is required is
prompting for 25 characters (5 times 5).

Has the link taken me to the wrong version of Windows?

How do I apply the key I have or change version to IoT?

Windows 10 iot enterprise LTSB---Group policy option

Hi,

I would like to know initially, the difference between Windows 10 IOT enterprise LTSB vs Windows 10 enterprise LTSB. I have heard and used the iot version, but do they really have a normal version as well.??

Secondly, I tried to use the group policy option in Windows 10 IOT enterprise LTSB. I created a rule just for a test purpose so as to only allow notepad to work. I enabled the group policy and I closed all the windows. Now I am able to open only notepad,
I cant even go back to the group policy editor so as to revert. Do I need to do a system reset or do I have to repair my OS once again.? Or do they have a different option.?
