Windows 10: Cannot access PC due to bluescreen error

The office was being rearranged and my PC was knocked/disconnected during a Windows update. Now the PC will show a blue screen error on start-up.The motherboard also shows an orange light as seen here: https://imgur.com/a/y9jfKq8 middle right of board, I do not know if this is related to the bluescreen issue.My process goes as follows: - Stuck on collecting error info screen at 0% - Hold power button to turn off - Unplug from power - Hold power button to discharge system - Wait - Plug back in - Turn on - Dell splashscreen - Windows icon with "preparing automatic repair" under loading icon -

• Were there any changes/updates to your device prior to the issue?
• Any troubleshooting steps you've done so far to resolve the issue?

1. Do you get bluescreen errors randomly or while performing any specific actions such as playing a game or running any particular application?
   
2. Do you see any error code along with the message “DRIVERS POWER STATE FAILURE”?
   
3. Are there any external devices connected to your computer?
   

The usual causes for bluescreen errors are Graphic card drivers and Network adapter drivers. We can go ahead and try to update the drivers.

Bluescreen error again...

• Version 1709
• nothing recent, haven't installed or done anything recently
• I have previously done memory tests before due to previous bluescreen issues (mem test overnight 8 passes)
• I have a custom built (asus z270 e mobo, 7700k (default clock), 16gb ram at 3000mhz, and a gtx 1080)
• The exact brand and model of my RAM is Corsair Dominator Platinum 16gb (2x8) @ 3000mhz, and i am using the xmp profile
• i just have chrome, discord the usual, usually other bluescreens i'll have different games open, but this occured while browsing
• i have 360gb (500gb main OS drive)
• this exact error? I'm not sure, ive gotten loads of varying errors via bluescreens
• havent overclocked CPU
• yes, updated them

i'll try windows diagnostic tool and get back to you
