Windows 10: Cannot activate Windows 10 64 bit on Mac Parallels

Hi,


I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia, and recently my PC is broken from a major flood in Jakarta, so i manage to install windows on Parallels desktop on my macbook pro.


Usually if I want to re-install windows from my old PC, I don't need product key, just login to microsoft account, add device, and everything is done.


I was able to add device to my microsoft account but the Windows cannot be activated. Here's the message:


We can't activate Windows on this device because our activation servers aren't available at the moment. Make sure that you're connected to the Internet and we'll automatically try to activate Windows when the service becomes available. Error code: 0x80072EE7


It's been several days now, FYI i still used trial Parallels software because i want to make sure my Windows works first.

activation - parallels, 32 to 64 bit

I originally had a 32 bit version of Windows 7. I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, also 32 bit. Trying to switch over to 64 bit, I had no trouble doing so in bootcamp (activation went fine, etc.), but when I decided I'd prefer the faster change over and state
saving of the Parallels version (and I've deleted the bootcamp partition at this point), it won't activate, saying that I don't have any eligible licenses.

I pulled a backup image from the parallels 32 bit Windows 10 Pro and it works fine, signs in fine, says it's activated. Killing that and creating a new 64 bit install fails again to activate. I can't just reinstall inside the original VM as it is emulating
an x86 32 bit processor from what I understand, so what do I do? From what I understand, it's not a violation of terms to switch, as long as you don't keep using the original (and I don't want to, as the software I need to use runs on 64 bit now).

Just to clarify, you receive the error message while trying to install Windows 10, is that right?

Unable to activate Windows 10 in parallels

I transferred a valid and activated copy of windows 10 (free upgrade from Windows 7) to Parallels on my Mac. The copy in Parallels though says it is not activated. How do I activate this VM?

The original windows computer is now switched off and not used, but is a windows 7 virtual machine in Parallels on this Mac.
