Windows 10: Cannot activate Windows 11 Pro install

I bought a new Dell PC with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. The hardware was faulty, so Dell sent an engineer who replaced the SSD drive with a new one, supplied by Dell, that had Windows 11 Pro pre-installed on it.The PC now works, but I cannot activate Windows because the built-in product key presumably for the original, and now defunct Windows 11 Home does not work.Dell have offered to install Windows 11 Home, but say that I will lose everything I have installed on the new PC in the meantime -- all my files from an old PC, plus about 40 applications together with their licence details and

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Can I use a Windows 11 Home Activation Key on a pre-installed Windows 11 Pro?

For context, I am building my PC and I paid a service to assemble the components I gathered. When the PC came back, an unactivated Windows 11 Pro was already installed on my PC. I wanted to activate Win11 Home because I don't need the Win11 perks. My question is :

1. Can I use a Windows 11 Home Activation Key on a pre-installed Windows 11 Pro?

or

2. Do I need to uninstall the Win 11 Pro and change it to a Win 11 Home first? If yes, can anyone give me a step-by-step guide?

Windows 8.1 pro + WMC key activation

I was considering buying a WMC pro add on for my windows 8.1 pro install, but have googled and found some people had trouble activating it. Has anyone on here got any experience with this.

As to my install, I have a real Windows 8 pro key. So I installed windows 8 pro using a MSDN retail .iso which was activated soon as it finished installing , then I updated to .1 pro.

When you buy the WMC add on, it changes your key, I have read some people have had trouble activating it, now mine activates from windows, I hate doing the phone activation crap, so I don't want to have to do that after the WMC add on finishes installing.

The question is, what happens to my windows 8 pro key, is it still usable? and how would i go about if I had to reinstall? would it have to be-

Install win 8 pro-update to 8.1-install WMC add on, or could i use a windows 8.1 pro with WMC disc?
