Windows 10: Cannot activate Windows 2019 Standard 0x8007007B

Hi,


Need help in activating Windows 2019 Standard, with Open Lic MAK. It will not activate it.

Prior MS had issue providing download link to ISO.

Installed fine with key (dubble checked with MS Licensing team)! But does not activate.

Translating error into something like:

We can't activate Windows on this device because we can't connect to your organization activatingsserver.....


Its a MAK key so should connect and activate to MS activating server? Should not need a activationsserver inhouse?


Server rebooted, also re-entered key and also run wizard to correct error without correcting issue.


I can see that under productkey in Windows it says xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-????? (where "?" is not matching with my last 5 keys)

Any help needed, thanks!

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Activation error 0x8007007B

I will be glad to help you with the issue you have with the computer. I understand the frustration when things don't work the way it should.

If you get the activation error “0x8007007b” or “0x8007232b” when you try to activate your Windows 8, then probably you use a generic Windows 8 product key during installation and the activation wizard cannot
find a valid KMS (Key Management Server) to activate your copy.
