Windows 10: Cannot add google accounts Error Code: 0x8007042b

Recently, I've been having issues with the Gmail school email that I've been using on my computer. The mail app hasn't been updating my mail for that account, and when prompted to fix it, I get an error message: "Something went wrong. We're sorry, but we weren't able to do that. Error code 0x8007042b"


I also tried opening "email & accounts" in the settings, where it tells me that this school email requires attention. When clicking "Fix" for this email, I get the same message.


Now I tried to add this email account to my computer again by clicking "Add an account," but the moment I select Google from the list, I get the error again.

I can't add my gmail account to the mail app in windows 10. When i go to add account and select google, the following error message pops:

Something went wrong...

Sorry we were unable to do that.

I don't have a 2 step verification in gmail. What do I do now?

When using the mail app in:
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
OS Version: 10.0.18362 N/A Build 18362

I'm getting the error code:
error 0x8007042b

I've disabled anti-virus but that didn't work.

What I'm trying to do is:

1. Go to the settings (the cog wheel in the app)
2. Manage accounts
3. + add account
4. and choose Yahoo
5. this gives the error: error 0x8007042b

I've 4 other mail accounts so resetting the app I haven't tried. Any other way around this issue?

 

windows 10 calendar will not import google calendar error code: 0x8007042b

In attempting to add a new calendar account in the new windows 10 calendar application. I get the following message after selecting add account, google: Something went wrong....We're sorry, but we weren't able to do that. Error code: 0x8007042b.

and that is as far as it gets.
