Windows 10: Cannot boot to login

So all I get is the black screen and rotating dots.

Simple issue I've had before

Only this time instead of taking me to the diagnostics page where I can repair it, it just says "preparing automatic repair" goes black and puts me back on the black screen with rotating dots. I'm at a loss here. What can I possibly do?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Resolving login issues
