Windows 10: Cannot Boot Windows 10 PC STOP CODE "NTFS FILE SYSTEM"

Hi


After performing a RegClean using the latest version of Cleaner, and being required to re-boot afterwards, my Fujitsu Esprimo P920 will not re-boot, and gives an error message with the stop code of 'NTFS File System'.


The PC then reboots, displays the Fujitsu logo, displays the Windows logo then displays 'Preparing automatic repair' followed by 'Diagnosing your PC'.


I then get 'Automatic repair couldn't repair your PC' and ref to log file E:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt and options to Shut down or Advanced options.


I chose Advanced options and then Troubleshoot and the Advanced options.


As I had set a restore point before running the reg cleaner, I started with System Restore., but got the result "No restore points have been created on your computer's system drive.'


At this point, I am stuck.

Stop code error - NTFS File System

My PC was working fine then when I came back and it is in a continual restart loop. The Dell symbol comes up but then the entire screen goes Blue and it says an error occurred and they will automatically restart the PC to fix it then it happens again.

Your PC Ran Into Problems and needs to restart again. Go to windows.com stop code for more information.

and below that it says

Stop code error - NTFS File System

I can't get to the Log in screen to try to boot up in Safe Mode.

I am pretty sure I am running windows 10. It is an old HP Inspiron 14R but this error occurred all of a sudden.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

NTFS file system error while booting

Hi,

I've been having issues with an NTFS file system error for the past day or so. The error has occurred continuously during the start-up.

• Automatic repair is unable to repair the pc.
• Resetting the PC just takes me back to the Troubleshoot menu with no apparent changes.
• Choosing to go back to a previous version gives me the rror message that "we ran into a problem and won't be able to take you back to a previous version of windows.
• Choosing Startup Repair gets the same issue as Automatic Repair.
• I've gone into Command Prompt and run chkdsk, likewise sfc scannow.
• Attempting to Boot into Safe Mode just results in another NTFS file system error.
• And unsurprisingly, I did not make a restore point before all this happened, which I know was quite stupid.

Any suggestions on what can be done at this point? I'm running Windows 10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad.

 

NTFS FILE SYSTEM AND FAT FILE SYSTEM STOP CODES!

Hi - I was having issues with my laptop stopping mid use with an error of 'memory management' particularly when I was using Word. Now, when I go to start it up it comes up with a blue screen and stopcode of NTFS FILE SYSTEM and says it needs to restart
- everytime it restarts it alternates between NTFS FILE SYSTEM and FAT FILE SYSTEM stop codes and just restarts but wont do anything else!!! Can anyone help please?? Thanks ;(
