Windows 10: Cannot check properties or disable ethernet card

Hello, I wanted to check the properties of my network card and I got an error that says 'An unexpected error occurred'.

When I want to disable it, it says 'it is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account.' Any fix?

do so.



If the issue still persists, reset and reconfigure your TCP/IP and check if you can access the properties afterwards.
To do this, follow these steps:



Reset TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

  Run
  Command Prompt
  as
  Administrator.
  
• 
  Run
  this command:
  
  • 
    netsh
    int
    ip reset
    and hit
    Enter.
    

Exit
Command Prompt
and
monitor your network connection.



Reconfigure TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt
  as
  Administrator.
  
• 
  Run
  these following commands:
  
  • 
    netsh
    int
    tcp set heuristics
    disabled
    
  • 
    netsh
    int
    tcp
    set global
    autotuninglevel=disabled
    
  • 
    netsh
    int
    tcp set global
    rss=enabled
