Windows 10: Cannot connect to bluetooth headset after windows update

After windows update, my Bluetooth headset is shown up as paired, but it is not connected (the audio output is still my speakers).

Before the update there used to be a button saying "connect" beside the "remove device" button, but it is no longer there. I tried connecting through action center, but it still does not work. How can I fix this?

• What is the make and model of your headset and Bluetooth dongle?

Bluetooth headphones connect but headset portion does not


I have the exact same problem with my Bluebuds X





I have tried to manually add a driver through windows driver update (you can choose a driver device from the list)
but i'm not sure which one is compatible and had no luck getting the headset portion to work... *Sad
