Windows 10: Cannot Connect To Internet

Hey all, so I just got done switching windows over to my SSD and everything seemed to be ok until I realized I couldn't connect to my wifi, the only option that shows up is ethernet. I use a little USB dongle that lets me connect to our wifi and it just refuses to work even thought it was working right before I reinstalled windows over to the SSD. I was thinking my BIOS may have been the issue because I did have to mess with that for a bit at one point but I reset it to the default layout and that wasn't the issue. At one point whenever I started my computer it was showing for me to start up different OS versions or something (sorry I wish I remembered what it said) but I was able to turn that off so I dont believe that was the issue either. I do not know if this will help at all but I also noticed that my second monitor is not being detected aswell. I also followed everything I could in this guide and received no answers either. https://thegeekpage.com/how-to-solve-network-adapter-is-missing-in-windows-10/ I also tried to use my brother's internet adapter that he uses in his computer and that also didn't fix the issue. I genuinely don't know what the problem was and im worried something went wrong.

Thank you for any help you may bring. Really getting freaked out here haha.

Edit - I should also note that when I plug in my USB wifi adapter that the computer makes the noise that it's being plugged in, so it does recognize it.

HTC 7 Mozart mobile not connecting to internet
