    Cannot connect to internet


    Hi
    I have installed Hyper-V with an external virtual network switch following the tutorial and then installed windows 7 and all is fine except that I cannot connect to the internet. Is there some kind of a setting to activate in order to enable that? When I look at network connections, it says no connection available but a HyperV Virtual Ethernet Adapter shows up in my advanced network properties. What am I missing? Thanks.

    Just to clarify, my VM cannot connect to the internet. I can connect fine outside of the VM. I followed the tutorial carefully and cannot see where I went wrong. Thanks.

    Internet explorer cannot connect to internet after upgrading to windows 10

    I have exactly the same problem. The "other programs" for me include OneDrive,
    DropBox and Skype Home page. So it's pretty serious. I have a Yoga 2 Pro - I updated all device drivers too from the Lenovo site, but still no joy.

    I just found that Windows 10 does not work for any program that requires Explorer 6! I lost everything I had recorded in Microsoft Money! I contacted everyone who might help at Microsoft, they kept referring me to other sites... to no avail.

    I don't like Quicken which does not allow me to control input... Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! and that's because I am polite!

    I solved my own problem by removing the network adapter and replacing it with a legacy adapter and am marking this as solved for posterity. Thanks.
