Windows 10: Cannot connect to the update server

We have 4 computers on a home network. All have Windows 10 2004, 10/1000 network cards, and wired connections. They all have internet access working fine. One computer has not been able to connect to the update server since early September. I have tried multiple trouble shooters, reset network cards, reinstalled windows, performed the DISM repair with the install.wim file, and have run sfc /scannow. The DISM and scannow were both performed successfully today, 10/29/2020. Still get the cannot connect to the update server message. Help, please.

Unable to connect to Google servers

There are cases that web content are blocked due to proxy server settings. We suggest that you remove the check mark on the the proxy server box, follow the steps below:

• Type Internet Options in the Ask me anything bar.
• Click on Connections tab.
• Click on LAN settings.
• Remove check in Proxy server box.
  

Once done, access your Google apps and check if issue persist.

"Server connectivity = blocked" on Xbox app on Windows 10

If your server connectivity is "Blocked", it means that your computer was unable to establish a Teredo IPsec connection to the Quality of Service (QoS) server. Since you've tried the troubleshooting steps from our support page, let's try to restart the "IP
Helper" and "Xbox Networking Service" by performing the following steps below:

1. Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run box.
2. Type "services" and hit enter to open the Services Window
3. Scroll down until you find an entry called “IP Helper”. Right-click on it, and then click Restart.
4. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and do the same thing for “Xbox Live Networking Service”.
5. Close the window, open the Xbox app and check your connection again.

If the issue persists, I recommend that you try connecting your computer to another network to see if that will change the server connectivity on the Xbox app.

• Do let us know if your device is connected to a Windows Server?
• Have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested in the Microsoft help article in my previous post and check if it helps?

Step like: Run the Network troubleshooter, Update the rivers, Rollback the drivers, turn off firewalls etc..

Try the above troubleshooting steps update us the status for further assistance.
