Windows 10: Cannot customize Start Screen...

I just bought a new laptop and like always it comes with all these programs and games at the start screen that I always get rid of.

I like having the news app, control panel and a few others on the start screen.

After restarting the computer after customizing, all of the apps are back and mine are gone.. !!!!


What is going on? This is the first Windows 10 computer to do this to me?????

Full Wallpaper Option and customization of Start screen on Windows 10

As you have an issues with customizing Start menu, I suggest you to try the below and check.

Steps to turn off full screen view of Start screen.

• 
  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.
  
• 
  In Personalization window, click on
  Start in the left pane.
  
• 
  Turn off Use start full screen.
  

Also, you can drag the Taskbar to left, right, top and bottom as well.

Follow the steps below to write a feedback:

1. Type Feedback in the
Search box on the Task bar.

2. Select Windows Feedback.

3. Click on Add new feedback and write your feedback.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Click Start icon and click Settings
  
• 
  Choose Personalization, click on Start
  
• 
  Turn on “Use start full screen”
