    Cannot delete an .SLP file


    Hi there! I had installed Server 2019 on Hyper-V . I deleted it and also attempted to delete other related files. Basically I followed the proper procedure to delete a VM. This is not the first time I have done this either. I had no issues before but this time it will not let delete an .slp file: 7240B4D9-F23E-4E7A-B86F-1B57CBCE7A8F.0000000000000000.slp file location: C:\VirtualMachine\WindowsServer2019\WinSer2019\Virtual Machines\7240B4D9-F23E-4E7A-B86F-1B57CBCE7A8F It says: You need permission to perform this action. I am an admin on my computer. I restarted a few times already. I even completely removed Hyper-V. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    I am an admin on my computer. I restarted a few times already.

    I even completely removed Hyper-V.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    May we know what type of file are you trying to delete? Would it be Office documents, media files, or picture files? If you're trying to delete files for free some space on your device. We suggest to perform a Disc Cleanup. Kindly follow the steps below to
    perform the task:

    • Type in Cortana Disc Cleanup
    • Choose the files to delete
    • Click on "Clean up system files"
    • Click on Ok
