Windows 10: Cannot detect or connect my 2nd monitor. Had no issues with my old monitor as my secondary...

Main Monitor - MSI OPTIX G27C2

2nd Monitor (Dual) - ACER SB220Q

Old 2nd Monitor (Replaced with ^) - LG L1900J

My MSI is hooked up with DP connection and my old LG was hooked up with DVI. When I received my new ACER monitor I tried connecting my my MSI with HDMI as I had a HDMI cord on hand. However the MSI wasn't detected with the HDMI cord. I then tried my new ACER with the HDMI cord and it also wasn't detected. Both of the monitors has some screen activity like connection info in the top corners and no signal written in the middle

I hooked my MSI back up to DP connection and my main monitor is working as usual. The ACER though, isn't being detected via HDMI or VGA now. VGA was the cord from the box and for some reason I cannot figure out how to get my PC to detect it.

I'm not very good with tech stuff, so if anyone has some answers or suggestions that would be great! Thanks in advance.

2nd Monitor Not Detected

I recently found in my closet an older monitor, and I decided I wanted to hook it up to my computer as a second monitor. It's a Dell E228WFP, so it's pretty old. It still works, I tested it. The problem is that it's
not detected by my computer.

This computer is also somewhat old. It still has Windows 7 on it. My main monitor is connected through DVI while the Dell E228WFP is connected through VGA. The Dell always
stays in Power Save Mode, and the light to show it's on is amber/yellow. I know it's not being detected because clicking detect under Screen Resolution options does nothing, and there's no setting for multiple monitors. It's also not listed under Devices,
white the main monitor is.

I'm not sure what else I can do to try and get it to work. I've tried unplugging the main monitor and leaving the Dell hooked up, but the screen still stayed blank. I tried disconnecting both and reconnecting, nothing.

 

2nd monitor issues. Can't connect.

Windows 10 stopped detecting 2nd monitor

I've restarted the computer (several times), and it's not showing any signs of detecting the 2nd monitor.

Ever since it stopped working, there's only '1' Display option; clicking 'Detect' in Multiple displays results in the message
"Didn't detect another display"; the Device Manager only lists one monitor (screenshot below); and it has stopped allowing me to select other projection modes unless I connect to the 2nd monitor wirelessly.

I'm using an HDMI cable for the 2nd monitor, and have tried both HDMI ports on the monitor unsuccessfully. The monitor models are Dell E2414H and LG 24J4840.
