    Cannot edit videos with Photo App


    Hi, the photo app in my new acer swift3 laptop does not allow any video edit functions, unlike my previous Acer laptop.

    I've tried several things:

    1 Check windows update several times to confirm that I have all latest patches updated

    2 Tried to install Photo app again, but it says I already have the latest version installed

    3 Check whether there are any optional features I should install, but could not find anything


    Please advice what I need to do. I use this app a lot in my work.

    My windows version: 1909 OS build 18363.1139

    Can't edit text in Video Editor App

    Can't edit or add text in any Video frame or title card.

    I have tried following steps:

    1. Upgrading Windows to latest build
    2. Repairing the Photos App
    3. Re-installing the Photos App
    None of the above steps worked for me. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.

    Thanks for the information.

    If the issue happened after installing the Polarr Pro, we suggest that you uninstall the app first and check if the photo app will work.

    To uninstall a program in Windows 10, follow these steps:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Click Programs.
    • Look for Programs and Features.
    • Right-click Polarr Pro.
    • Click Uninstall.

    Get back to us with the result.

    • Are you using the pre-installed Photos app on Windows 10 ,Paint or perhaps an app you have downloaded in Windows Store?
    • What are those troubleshooting steps you have already tried so far?
    • Please provide a screenshot showing your issue.
    We'd appreciate any additional information you may provide.
