Windows 10: Cannot erase an erroneous logon persona at boot

Have tried all suggestions in MS forums for Win 10. Tried posting in the correct forum, but was locked. I cannot remove a erroneous logon logo presented at logon. I can't find it to erase it. I've tried all suggestions from MS community plus other google searches. None work. I am a cancer researcher, and must solve this problem before migrating all data and OS to a newly designed and built faster computer, my 7th build. Please help me. Thank you, Dr. Pete

Finally! An alternative to eraser...

it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.

 

Erroneous symbols at the bottom left corner of desktop icons

I'm running Windows 10 with the latest updates. A few days ago, the icons for objects on the desktop changed appearance. The icons are correct but
all have a symbol at the bottom left corner:

• Shortcuts show the correct shortcut symbol
• All files erroneously show a shortcut symbol
• Almost all folders erroneously show a shortcut symbol
• Some folders erroneously show "X"

The icons for files and folders (including the Desktop folder) displayed using File Explorer are all normal.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

 

Firefox Personas

Hey guys, thought I'd share this as I didn't see it posted. These are pretty cool, you can add a nice theme to your Firefox like in the picture below:





There's lots to choose from and you just need to install 1 thing on Firefox and on the Persona site you can just hover your mouse over a persona and it shows you what it's like. Once installed you can just go to Tools > Personas For Firefox and you get a list of options and you can just change it on the fly, you can also make your own if you want.
