    Cannot get ATT mail to work with windows 10


    According to Microsoft AT&T Email is not an option for their mail. You cannot set it as a default. The only way to continue to uses AT&T mail to to actually go the the AT&T page and log into your Email account.

    This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. *Smile

    In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

    Thanks for the suggestions! I must say that I've used the same ATT server and Thunderbird for all my mail for a long time. The concept of switching over seems daunting. Might you elaborate simply on the two step verification. Old dog and new ways kinda issue!!!

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
