Windows 10: Cannot install Intel Driver and Support Assistant (The specified account already exists)

Hi there,

Trying to install Intel Driver and Support Assistant but I keep running into the same error: "The specified account already exists."

I've tried using the Microsoft tool to find corrupt registry keys etc. but that didn't help my problem at all (link to fix I've tried: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed).

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated!

Running on the latest version of Windows 10, my laptop: HP Pavilion x360 15-bk020wm.

Install Intel Installation Framework" or "Intel Management Engine Components" and that should fix the problem.

I'm running A Sony Vaio with Windows 10 Build 1803. Intel HD Grapics 4000 Ver: 10.18.10.4885. When I run the tray app it says there's an update for Intel Driver & Support Assistant. I click on download and I get this
