Windows 10: Cannot install most games from Xbox Game Pass for PC through MS Store (Install option...

Hi, I have bump into this very recently, already found a solution that worked for me and some folks already in the internet:

1. PROBLEM: I'm currently subscribing Xbox Game Pass for PC; however, I cannot install some games like Wolfenstein II: Standard edition or The Outer Worlds, where I can install Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice or Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition
2. SOLUTION: Go to MS Windows Update > Search for Windows update to version 1903 > Install manually as MS didn't flag it to run automatically > Lunch MS Store and search for desired game - should be fixed now
3. MIGHT BUMP INTO THIS: As you cannot change install location like in most of the shops, make sure you ether have enough disk space on your Windows partition or change “New apps will save to:” like here: https://www.thedigitalmediazone.com/2016/02/17/how-to-change-the-windows-store-download-location/

Xbox Game Pass for PC app and Killer Instinct

Today I signed up for the new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Upon installing the Xbox Game Pass for PC app on my system, I was pleased to discover that it automatically found 3 of the 4 Microsoft games that I purchased from the MS Store and currently
have installed: ReCore, State of Decay 2, and Sea of Thieves. These 3 games are displayed neatly on the sidebar of the app.

However, the app did not find Killer Instinct. I assume this is because the game is free-to-play and not listed on the Game Pass. So is there any way to manually add it to the sidebar along with the other Microsoft/Xbox games? If not, could the powers-that-be
add it to the Game Pass?

XBox PC beta installer and Windows Store game installation broken

Hi All,

I signed up to the XBox game pass for PC beta and upgraded to Windows 10 1903.

Next was to install the XBox Game Pass PC app from here:

XGP viewport

With this I am getting a 0x80073CF9 error.

Then I went to the store and tried to install some of the game pass games (Gears of War 4 etc). I tried multiple of these, they each download a bit and then die with a 0x80073CF9 error.

This seems to be the case for most larger apps as well, but not for smaller ones, I installed some successfully.

All the typical troubleshooting has been done already, the Windows store has been reset, re-installed, multiple reboots were done.

Needless to say, this PC is extensively used with Steam, GOG, Epic Store and it works fine with all of them.

Is this a known extensive problem? I can see many posts here with these issues, since the game pass for PC was launched.

Is this something that will fix itself once the initial rush dies down, or something else is going on?
