Windows 10: Cannot install update "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903

recently, I got an error message while installing new update saying that I have an old version of Intel Rapid Storage Technolgy and I have to update it.

So, I installed a newer version along with IAStoreUi, both UI and driver with version 17.* and restarted computer. (I simply followed the tutorial).

To check update I ran the UI and in the Help section, I checked my driver version and it was 17.*.

But I had no luck with the repeated installation of the windows update, it ended with the same message. So I downloaded older/recommended version 15.9.6.1044 but it did not work as well.


Before posting this question I googled a lot but it seems I cannot find the right answer.

I found this tutorial but I do not understand some steps so before doing difficult and messy things with the services, I would like to ask for something simpler. I have already tried the process with windows update assistant but it was the same as updating via normal Settings->Windows Update.


I think my update was done in the wrong way, so I would like to ask whether I have done it properly or not. I think I should have downloaded f6flpy-x64 and put this content of this zip somewhere but I do not know where.

Window 10, Version 1903 May Update

1. Why are all of the links that you listed not completed. On my computer currently it has Windows 10 Home Version 1803, installed 6/29/2018 with O.S. Build 17134.799. It has used space of 187 GB and 257 GB of free space.

I attempted to install Version 1903 Manually, through Settings/Windows Update, Windows 10 Update Assistant, and other ways without success. I have spent the better part of the past 3 days trying to get this accomplished on my laptop. It has worked on my
PC but not on the laptop.

Listed below are the different error messages that I get after the download stops each time at 90% and converts back to previous settings:

a. Windows 10, Version 1903 error message (0x80240034)

b. We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x800703fb)

c. We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0xC1900101 - 0x4000D)

d. Feature update to Windows 10, Version 1903, We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x80070652)

If there are ways to get this latest update installed on my laptop, please let me know what I have to do in detail, step by step.

Windows 10, Version 1903 Feature Update

Honestly, version 1903 is very stable, probably the most stable feature update to Windows 10 yet.

It is being released slowly and currently, you must click 'Update Now' to get that update . . .

The 1903 update will check your system prior to installing and if a hardware conflict is found, the update will not install

All-in-all, on these forums we are usually flooded with bugs and complaints when a feature update is released, this has not been the case with 1903, so you should go for the update . . .
