Windows 10: Cannot login on Microsoft Apps on my PC.

i have a new computer on my workplace for a few weeks, which should also be used for gaming with colleagues after work. Unfortunately, I have a problem with the registration: in Xbox apps, games with Xbox registration as well as in the Edge Chromium browser, I simply cannot register. With the local admin account on the computer everything works with regard to the registration, but it no longer works on my assigned account, which is stored on a server drive for my work. - Everything worked smoothly on my previous work computer, only since I got the new computer can I log into the account. In the beginning it was actually still possible because I am also logged in to the MS Store, but can no longer log out or log in to other xbox apps. It happens, for example, in the games or Xbox apps as follows: when I want to log in, another window pops up with a green login button at the bottom. however, when I click on it, nothing happens. if I then click the button several times in a row, then a white window appears for less than a second, which immediately disappears. With the Edge Chromium, nothing happens when I click on the user icon in the top right corner and then on '' Login ''. - I have already found the first cause. The white field is for logging in or searching for Xbox / Microsoft accounts that have already been saved. This window is referred to as '' Logins and Services '' in the Task Manager when it is currently running. this service runs on the admin account without any quirks, with which I can then log into xbox apps and games, but on my personal account ... nothing. Of course, i tried everything i found on the internet, but everything i tried didn't work. even changing the xbox programs from '' manual '' to '' automatic '' in the service program did nothing. In my private Laoptop I can do everything without any problems. why can the '' task '' no longer be executed? in the beginning it worked, at least i can still download games.

since i need this for social projects, it is particularly important to fix it quickly. I even logged on to another colleague's pc with my account as a test, everything goes wonderfully there. so I can rule out the problem on the part of my account. - As I said: the task `` Registration and Services '' is simply not executed, but this is necessary so that windows are opened to log in to Xbox.

Microsoft Login

I suggest you to perform Safe Mode with Networking and then try to change the password.

Method 1: Safe mode.

Please follow below steps:

    Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold
    Shift key and click on Restart.
    
  • 
    Click on Troubleshoot.
    
  • 
    Click on Advanced options.
    
  • 
    Click on Startup Settings.
    
  • 
    Click on Restart.
    
  • 
    Login to Microsoft Account and create a new administrator account.
    

If you’re not able to login using Microsoft account then refer to below steps and check if it helps.

Method 2:
Activate Inbuilt Administrator Account.

Follow the below steps:

    Click on power button at left bottom corner, press and hold
    Shift key and click on Restart.
    
  • 
    Click on Troubleshoot.
    
  • 
    Click on Advanced options.
    
  • 
    Click on Command Prompt and enter following command.
    
    net user Administrator /active:yes
    

Now reboot your system and login to inbuilt admin account and try to reset password for other account. Once you reset password login to other account and to deactivate inbuilt admin account enter following command in elevated command prompt.

net user Administrator /active:no

  Are you trying to login to Microsoft account or local account?

  If its Microsoft account are you able to login using the web interface?
  

I suggest you to use the on-screen keyboard and try to login. Follow the steps below:

Click on the Ease of Access icon at the right bottom of the screen and select On-screen keyboard and check if issue persists.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
