    Cannot print files to virtual driver from Microsoft Windows Photos App


    In older OS, Win 10 Pro 20H2 OS Build 19042.685, When file is printed to virtual printer driver from Photos App, Photos App generating .SPL file's in "C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS" directory.File is printed to virtual printer driver.As in latest OS, Windows 10 21H119043.1288 or Windows 11 21H222000.194, When file is printed to virtual printer driver from Photos App, Photos App are not generated .SPL in "C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS" directory and not shown any error message.We have checked Release notes of latest Windows update “19043.1288” or "22000.194".But, t

    Printing a photo on windows 10

    You can use Windows Photo App to print the photos in windows 10.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key and type Photos.
    • Select the photo.
    • Right click on the photo.
    • Select print option.
    • Then you will be able to print photos.

    Unable to Print .JPG files as photos from Win10.

    Following these instruction I get as far as step 3.
    • Press Windows key and type Photos in search box and hit enter.
    • Browse and open the photo you want to print.
    • Click on the more option (three dots) on the upper right corner of the app.
    • AT THIS POINT Print does not appear. All that shows is: Refresh, Slideshow, Settings and Feedback
    • I am running Windows 10 Home

    My CANON MP210 printer will no longer print out photos from my 'Pictures' file in Windows 10.
