Windows 10: Cannot print mails with images from Windows 10 Mail

    Cannot print mails with images from Windows 10 Mail


    Since several weeks I cannot print mails from Windows 10 Mail that include images. It will work in all other apps and in text only emails. If it fails, one can see an error from PrintService in the Event Viewer complaining about a spooler related error Event Id 372. More precisely, it will work once after booting and then nevermore.

    Does someone know this?

    Windows Mail

    Yes, Windows mail (on Vista) is almost identical to Windows Live Mail (which I use here at work on XP), and have multiple accounts set up.

    Windows Live Mail has one of the best out-of-the-box spam detectors I have ever seen in an e-mail client, and of course, it's free.

    The one thing I like about WLM over Windows Mail on Vista, is that WLM does not use popup box verification when you delete the entire junk mailbox (it does, however, on the deleted mailbox). If I hit the delete key for a whole mailbox, I mean it. Honestly, you don't have to ask me if I am sure about what I am doing.

    Hi Brambly,

    As you are facing issue with the Windows 10 mail image attachments.

    We have figured out and recognized that, you will not find option to
    Save, print or move     except the Copy option available for the Windows 10 mail image attachments.

    Hence I suggest you to provide the feedback as this is by latest design;

    Step on how to provide feedback

    • Open the image you want to copy or save.
    • Click on Settings.
    • Right hand side select the feedback option and provide feedback for the same.

    Windows 10 Mail app won't print some messages

    We appreciate that you perform the steps that we've provided. We'd like to know if you're able to print files when using other applications. Since you mentioned that the issue still persists, we suggest that you uninstall the Windows 10 Mail app
    using the Windows PowerShell. To do this, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Click Start, type Windows PowerShell, right-click on it, then select
      Run as administrator.
    • Enter the command below:
      • Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage, then press
        Enter.

    Once done, we suggest that you download theWindows 10 Mail and Calendar app from the
    Windows Store.

    Get back to us with the result.
