    Cannot reinstall 3 favorite programs with Version 1607 update


    My desktop and laptop have updated to Version 1607, Build 14393.187 (Windows 10 Home), and the update conveniently uninstalled three of my favorite programs--Windows Movie Maker 6, Chess Titans, and Spider Solitaire. I had installed Chess Titans and Spider Solitaire successfully in Windows 10 using msgames_win8_x64.msi, but now when I try to reinstall the games, the icons reappear, but the games won't start. The new version won't let me reinstall Windows Movie Maker 6 at all.

    Funny thing is that Revo Uninstaller shows both Windows Movie Maker 6 and MS Game for Windows 8 listed as installed.

    Is there an additional step or setting that would let me reinstall these programs? Thanks.

    How can I add website to my favorites bar in Microsoft Edge browser?

    I am having exactly the same problem with Edge. I cannot save any Favorites by following the above directions. "Show the Favorites bar" is turned on. "Favorites," not Reading List, is selected. I have not been able to save any additional Favorites since
    moving them over from Explorer.

    no "run" opton on download, cannot load any programs.

    Running Win10 v.1607, cannot load win10 upgrade or any other program. Do not have
    the "run" option on any downloads. If I click 'save as" it says there are no more files. I have windows updates loading fine on 6/17/17 except for this one

    "2017-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4022715)"

    which tried repeatedly to download. Any other programs I have tried to load have met with same fate.

    I am wondering if reinstalling Win10 will solve the problem. Thanks

    There are lots of chess programs on the Store as well, just a matter of trying some out to find one you like.

    Thanks, all. I solved this problem. I downloaded games from here. That reinstalled Chess Titans and Spider solitaire. I had saved my original Windows Movie Maker 6 .msi file, and after a second try, the reinstallation worked.
